Measure A Room

 

When drawing a room to scale, you are providing a map of the room.

 

This will allow the designer to have a insight of the room details. The drawing should duplicate the proportions of the room. ​

 

1. Simply sketch the room layout by hand.

 

​2. Measure from corner to corner. Indicating and including the dimensions of doors, closets, windows, electrical outlets and light fixtures. ​

 

3. Also, notate any furniture that will be remaining in the room, as well as built-ins. ​

 

4. Make sure to also inform us of the ceiling height.
